The coronavirus pandemic is currently posing major challenges to many people and also to companies. The past weeks have demonstrated: only together can we succeed in overcoming this crisis. At BASF, we believe we are well prepared. The well-being of our employees and supplying our customers in the best possible way have the utmost priority for us.

To fight against the spread of the corona virus, we have established crisis teams in all regions in which we operate in accordance with our pandemic preparedness plan. This approach allows us to coordinate all our measures for employees, customers and partners and take into account the often very different situations in the different locations.

A global crisis team also meets daily at our headquarters in Ludwigshafen. Here, experts monitor current developments in close cooperation with government and health authorities and decide on a daily basis which measures are appropriate for BASF.
